Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ post‑qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience producing financial statements in line with current accounting standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a reputable medium-sized firm in North Dublin. This role is ideal for a proactive Qualified Accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing diverse client portfolios. The successful Qualified Accountant will play a key role in supporting both clients and internal teams through high-quality accounting and advisory work.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
  • Handle a range of accounting, corporation tax, and income tax assignments.
  • Assist in training and supporting junior accountants as a Qualified Accountant.
  • Identify client needs and deliver effective, practical solutions.
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts for some of the firm’s largest clients.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified, ideally operating at Qualified Accountant level.
  • 2–3 years’ post‑qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience producing financial statements in line with current accounting standards.
  • Good knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.
  • Experience with Surf Accounts Production and Xero is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work under pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable.
