Job summary

The Galway Bay Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to join our team on-site in Galway. You will help maintain guest rooms and public areas, support daily housekeeping tasks, and ensure high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow Galway Bay Hotel standards and procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness of public areas and guest bedrooms/bathrooms.
• Vacuum rooms, corridors, lifts and stairs.
• Change and replenish bed linen and guest amenities.
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Restock and maintain trolley on a daily basis.
• Dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Check public areas and toilets and take corrective action.
• Manage guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Follow lost property procedures.

The Galway Bay Hotel are now recruiting an Accommodation Assistant to join our great team.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and implement Galway Bay Hotel standards
• Ensure cleanliness of public areas
• Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
• Vacuum rooms and corridors, lifts, stairwells
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis
• Dispose of waste accordingly as per company guidelines
• Check public areas and toilets taking corrective action where necessary
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow lost property procedures

About You:

• Must be flexible and enjoy a challenge

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
