The Lodge at Ashford Castle is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to ensure high-quality housekeeping and maintain spotless rooms in line with Forbes 5 Star Standards and Red Carnation Hotels.

Based in Cong, Mayo, the role is casual with 5 days over 7 including weekends and bank holidays. You will deliver exceptional guest care, manage stayovers, and contribute to a prestigious estate experience.

Accommodation Assistant – Luxury Hotel

We are recruiting for an Accommodation Assistant to provide quality service to our guests and ensure the cleanliness of all rooms and areas in a timely manner, in line with The Red Carnation Hotels standards.

Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland.

Employment type: Casual

Working pattern: 5 days over 7 days (including some weekends & Bank Holidays).

Key responsibilities of the Accommodation Assistant will include:

• Providing each guest with the highest levels of Housekeeping service in accordance with Forbes 5 Star Standards and Red Carnation Hotels standards
• To provide a full service to vacated bedrooms and replenish stayover bedrooms
• To provide guests, at all times, with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests needs

The ideal candidate for the Accommodation Assistant position should:

• Have a friendly and outgoing personality
• Be enthusiastic and fully flexible (need to work 5 days over 7 day period, inclusive of some weekends and holidays)
• Have strong communication skills
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Be legally eligible to work in Ireland
• Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage your workload effectively
