Job summary
A tech company in Indonesia is looking for a Software Engineering Lead to design the overall platform architecture and provide technical leadership. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, over 5 years of software engineering experience, and strong full-stack development skills. The role involves mentoring the engineering team and collaborating with product managers and designers to align technical implementation with user experience goals.
Qualifications

- Proven experience architecting web/mobile platforms from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Design the overall platform architecture including web/mobile platforms and APIs.
- Provide hands-on leadership across the engineering team.

- Design the overall platform architecture, including web/mobile platforms, APIs, booking systems, and third‑party services (Payment, CRM)
- Provide hands‑on leadership across the engineering team – conduct code reviews, mentor developers, enforce best practices, and set engineering standards
- Lead technical planning, define technical roadmaps, manage timelines and resources, and ensure quality delivery
- Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and creative technologists to align technical implementation with user‑experience goals
- Evaluate third‑party tools, cloud providers, and technology stacks
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in a tech lead / solution architect role
- Strong experience in full‑stack development (Node.js, React/Vue, REST APIs, database)
- Proven experience architecting web / mobile platforms from scratch
- Experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
