Job Purpose

At Multi Bintang Indonesia, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact—supporting people, the planet, and fostering togetherness.

As an Automation Instrument and Electrical Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and availability of all production and utilities equipment having a long-term focus and providing input and coaching to planning and execution of maintenance plans, keeping health and safety as a priority. Also ensure adequate breakdown resolution for automation, electrical and instrumentation related breakdowns and leads continuous improvements using Total Productive Management (TPM) tools.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure automation, electrical and instrumentation systems operate safely and meet all legislative and Heineken standards.
• Ensure the brewery complies with ISO and HACCP standards for all critical instrumentation and that all necessary records are maintained, including all radioactive sources used for inspection equipment.
• Define and review work procedures, maintenance standards and troubleshooting guides for electrical and automation equipment.
• Responsible for Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation and controls related spares kept on site and ensuring that the correct spares are available, and the costs associated are minimized.
• Responsible for calibration and instrumentation processes on site.
• Responsible for backup and installation of operational software & wiring diagram on site.

Candidate Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Process Control / Instruments / Automation Engineering.
• Experience: Proven track record with minimum 5 years’ experience with process control and automation in FMCG and large-scale industrial processes, especially in Endress Hauser instrumentation, Zenon, Krones, Proleit and Allen Bradley PLC.
• Certified electrical safety practitioner (AK3 Listrik) will be an advantage.
• Familiar with TPM methodology.
• Specialistic knowledge and skill in the following areas: Electrical safety for low voltage, Power distribution systems, In line inspection equipment, Coding equipment (laser, ink), Brewmaxx Proleit, Zenon, Danfoss Inverter.
• Language: Fluent and proficient in English (written and verbal).

Tools Provided: Laptop and personal protective equipment.

Contract: Full-time.
