Job summary
A leading renewable energy firm in Indonesia is looking for an experienced finance professional to manage transactions, produce financial statements, and ensure tax compliance. Candidates should have over 5 years of relevant experience, possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and have strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and team management skills are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax roles.
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting and tax compliance in Indonesia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain transactions including payments to vendors and clients.
- Produce accounting journal, general ledger, and financial statements.
- Handle general tax responsibilities including payments and reporting.
Skills
Education
Transactions: Responsible for maintaining transactions (payment to vendor, invoices to client and internal and external payment).
Accounting: Responsible for producing an accounting journal, general ledger, trial balance and financial statement and its archive for monthly and yearly basis.
Tax: General tax handling including calculation of tax payment and returns and report to the tax office.
Bank and others: Reconciliation bank statements and involve in dealing with banks for treasury and other institutions related to finance, accounting and tax.
Collaboration: Collaborate with a cross functional team, third party tax consultant and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth company’s financial report.
Professional development: Stay up to date with government regulations especially in the renewable energy sector. Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance accounting skills and knowledge.
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax roles, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
Thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and tax compliance in Indonesia
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insightful financial analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in managing and developing a team of finance and accounting professionals
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting certification is preferred
