PT. GEOSERVICES is seeking a Welding Inspector with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC. Minimum 2 years of working experience in Oil & Gas, Construction or EPC.
Must hold a valid, recognized Welding Inspector certificate.
Strong understanding of welding processes.
Good understanding of NDT methods and interpreting NDT reports.
Check base materials, consumables, joint preparations, and equipment.
Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications and Welder Performance Qualifications.
Monitor welding processes parameters to ensure compliance with the approved WPS.
Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications, blueprints, and international codes.
Request and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Prepare, sign, and maintain accurate daily inspection reports and quality documentation.
