Job summary

PT. GEOSERVICES is seeking a Welding Inspector with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC. A valid Welding Inspector certificate and strong NDT knowledge are required. You will check materials, review WPS/WPQ, monitor welding processes, and ensure compliance with project specs and codes.

The role involves overseeing NDT, maintaining daily quality reports, and contributing to project quality in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Construction or EPC.
• Must hold a valid Welding Inspector certificate.
• Strong understanding of welding processes.
• Good understanding of NDT methods and interpreting NDT reports.

Responsibilities

• Check base materials, consumables, joint preparations, and equipment.
• Review and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
• Monitor welding process parameters to ensure compliance with the approved WPS.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications, blueprints, and international codes.
• Request and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• Prepare, sign, and maintain accurate daily inspection reports and quality documentation.
