PT SCG Barito Logistics is seeking a dedicated QC Inbound professional to join our Warehousing, Storage & Distribution team in Cilegon, Banten. This is a full-time role that focuses on ensuring inbound goods meet our quality standards before processing and storage.

The successful candidate will act as Shift Leader, guiding the team, maintaining quality documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to uphold safety, accuracy, and efficiency across inbound operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree required, minimum GPA 3.0.
• Experience in logistics/supply chain preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy essential.
• Experience with SAP and WMS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound quality inspections on arrival and verify documentation.
• Ensure items match delivery docs in quantity, specs, and condition.
• Document discrepancies, damages, and defects; manage returns or rejections.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality records for inbound shipments.

About the role

PT SCG Barito Logistics is seeking a dedicated QC Inbound professional to join our Warehousing, Storage & Distribution team based in Cilegon, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our inbound operations. As QC Inbound, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming goods meet our stringent quality standards and comply with specified requirements before they are processed and stored in our facilities. Act as the Shift Leader, taking full accountability for guiding the shift team and ensuring all daily inbound quality control targets and safety standards are met efficiently. This position is essential to our operational excellence and directly impacts customer satisfaction and supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of all inbound goods upon arrival, including visual checks and documentation verification.
• Verify that received items match delivery documentation in terms of quantity, specifications, and condition.
• Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or defects found during the inspection process. Monitor and control damaged products, pallet inventory, and empty storage lines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality control records for all inbound shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and manage returns or rejections.
• Manage product allocation based on SM (Sales Memos) and internal memos.
• Monitor compliance with company quality policies and industry regulations
• Communicate quality findings to relevant departments and management to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organised inspection work area and ensure proper handling of inspection equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee loading and unloading operations in collaboration with internal departments and operational staff, including Forklift Operators, Foremen, Trucking Guides, and Truck Scale personnel.
• Generate Load Instructions (LI) and Transfer Orders (TO) for truck loading and unloading operations.
• Execute Goods Issue and Goods Receipt processes in the system, and ensure the accurate printing of Delivery Notes (Surat Jalan) and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
• Oversee forklift utilization and ensure daily forklift availability to support operational needs.
• Collaborate with the Inventory Controller to maintain stock accuracy, providing precise data regarding inventory levels and the physical location of goods within the warehouse.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) with min GPA 3.00
• Previous experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is highly preferred
• Highly motivated fresh graduates with a Diploma/Bachelor Degree are welcome to apply
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and defects accurately
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and anticipate customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity with the ability to maintain strict professional confidentiality
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and quality documentation software
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in SAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (e.g., capable of utilizing VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas)
