Job summary

Philips is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager for Batam Manufacturing to ensure smooth, timely distribution of center operations and align transport capacity with customer demand. The role emphasizes data integrity across SAP and related systems, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage receiving, storage, picking/packing, and compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, while coordinating inbound/outbound activities and implementing automation projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in SCM/Operations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in SCM/Logistics/Operations.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and Industry 4.0 automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors KPI reviews daily/weekly/monthly and identifies improvements.
• Manages warehousing operations (receiving, storage, picking/packing) for efficiency and safety.
• Ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal and trade requirements.
• Supports inbound/outbound operations and resolves exceptions such as delays and discrepancies.
• Maintains data integrity across SAP, TMID and LSP systems and performs stock reconciliation.
• Coordinates stock rework and quality issues; leads VAS activities.
• Develops long-term transportation plans aligned with demand and delivery commitments.
• Drives continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and cross-functional initiatives.
• Implements warehouse automation and digital transformation initiatives.
