Job summary

PT Philips Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager (Batam Manufacturing) to ensure smooth inbound/outbound operations, accurate data across SAP and WMS, and alignment of transport capacity with customer demand. The role involves KPI monitoring, warehouse optimization, and driving digital transformation.

You will lead warehousing activities, uphold quality and regulatory standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, SCM, Operations Management or Vocational Education in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transport, Logistics, Operations or related fields.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, import/export processes, and Industry 4.0 automation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors performance through KPI reviews and drives improvements.
• Manages warehousing operations (receiving, storage, picking/packing) with focus on efficiency and quality.
• Ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal, and trade requirements.
• Supports inbound/outbound operations and resolves discrepancies and complaints.
• Maintains data integrity across SAP, TMID, and LSP interfaces and stock reconciliation.
• Coordinates stock rework, including quality issues and VAS activities.
• Develops long-term transportation plans aligned with customer demand.
• Drives continuous improvement through root cause analysis and cross-functional initiatives.
• Implements warehouse automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Assistant Warehouse Manager (Batam Manufacturing)

The Assistant Warehouse Manager ensures smooth, accurate, and timely distribution of center operations, from daily inbound and outbound execution to long-term transportation planning. Working under general supervision, the role resolves operational exceptions, safeguards data integrity across SAP, TMID, and LSP systems, and aligns transport capacity with customer demand and delivery commitments, while keeping stakeholders informed on shipment status and delays.

Your role:

• Monitors service provider performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reviews, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Manages warehousing operations (receiving, storage, picking/packing) with a focus on efficiency, quality, and patient safety.
• Ensures compliance with quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal, and trade requirements.
• Supports daily inbound and outbound operations, resolving exceptions such as overdue ASNs/PODs, delivery discrepancies, and complaints.
• Maintains data integrity through daily SAP, TMID, and LSP interface checks and SAP-WMS stock reconciliation.
• Coordinates stock rework, including quality issues and VAS activities.
• Develops long-term transportation plans aligned with customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Drives continuous improvement through root cause analysis and cross-functional initiatives.
• Implement warehouse automation and roll out digital transformation initiatives

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management OR Vocational Education in Warehousing and Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in areas such as Supply Chain, Transport, Logistics, Operations, Physical Distribution or equivalent.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, import/export processes, and Industry 4.0 automation.
• Preferred Skills: Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics Systems, Troubleshooting, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Transport Planning & Scheduling, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Capacity Planning, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Business Acumen, Continuous Improvement & Project Management.
