Job summary

Ucoal seeks a Warehouse & Logistics Lead to direct site operations, ensuring accurate inventory, timely distribution, and reliable logistics support for mining activities. You will oversee a team, coordinate material handling, and uphold HSE standards on site.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in logistics or related fields, with at least 3 years in warehouse/logistics and proven supervisory experience. On-site work and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, or Material Management, preferably in mining or related industries.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a warehouse and logistics team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material movement procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for inventory monitoring and reporting.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work on-site at a mining site with site roster.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Warehouseman, Warehouse Admin, and Logistic teams at the site.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, handling, issuing and distribution of materials and tools.
• Ensure warehouse activities are organized, documented, and follow procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, and material movement to support operations.
• Coordinate material delivery and logistics to meet department schedules.
• Verify incoming/outgoing materials and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping, storage, and handling practices for safety and efficiency.
• Supervise team performance, allocation, discipline, and adherence to procedures.
• Prepare daily/periodic reports on warehouse activities and logistics.
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to sustain site operations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, company policies, and operational standards.

Lead and coordinate Warehouse & Logistic activities at site to ensure effective material handling, inventory accuracy, timely distribution, and reliable logistics support for mining operations in accordance with company procedures and HSE standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise Warehouseman, Warehouse Admin, and Logistic teams in carrying out daily Warehouse & Logistic activities at site.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, handling, issuing, and distribution of materials, spare parts, tools, and operational supplies.
• Ensure warehouse activities are properly organized, documented, and conducted in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, material movement, and storage conditions to support operational requirements.
• Coordinate material delivery and logistics activities to ensure materials reach the required departments and work areas on schedule.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing materials and ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
• Conduct and coordinate periodic stock checking and inventory reconciliation, including identifying discrepancies and following up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and other related departments regarding material and logistics requirements.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping, material storage, and handling practices to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, or Material Management, preferably in the mining, heavy equipment, or related industries.
• Proven experience in supervising or leading a warehouse and logistics team.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, and logistics processes.
• Familiar with warehouse documentation, stock monitoring, inventory reconciliation, and material movement control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for inventory monitoring and operational reporting.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple operational priorities.
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Willing to work in a mining site environment and site roster system.
