Job summary

PT Dystar Colours Indonesia is seeking a Warehouse Foreman to oversee warehouse operations in Cilegon, ensuring accurate handling of finished goods, SAP records and safety compliance. The role requires coordinating with staff, managing workloads and enforcing company policies.

The candidate should have a minimum of a diploma in Business Administration or a technical field, at least 2 years as a Warehouse Foreman, and strong SAP WM knowledge, with forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration or Technical field is required.
• At least 2 years as Warehouse Foreman or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP WM and warehouse documentation.
• Deep understanding of import/export documents, labeling, FiFo/LiFo and stock counts.
• Familiar with 5S, housekeeping and safety procedures in a warehouse.
• SIO forklift certification and ability to operate reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming finished goods and logistics workflows.
• Coordinate with staff, assign tasks and monitor workloads.
• Verify transfers in SAP and ensure proper dispatch of goods.
• Maintain SAP records and prepare periodical stock counts.

Job description

The Warehouse Foreman is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations at PT Dystar Colours Indonesia, managing incoming finished goods, logistic activities, warehouse workloads, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with warehouse staff, maintaining SAP system records, and implementing company policies and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Check, control, monitor and review all incoming finished goods, identifying material numbers, product names, and quantities compared to delivery notes, packing lists and SAP system
• Ensure proper and safe handling of goods from unloading through storage in dedicated storage bins
• Prepare, maintain, check, control and monitor all logistic activities of finished goods dispatched for export according to Shipping Instructions and Delivery Notes
• Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse operators based on workloads and priorities in alignment with Warehouse Supervisor and Manager instructions
• Confirm Transfer Orders (Transfer Posting/Goods Issue) in the SAP system after all required materials are dispatched completely
• Maintain warehouse equipment and vehicles including reach trucks, electric forklifts, and wrapping machines, scheduling repairs and inspections
• Prepare, arrange and maintain SAP documentation for periodical cycle counting and annual stock counts to identify and balance stock deviations
• Implement HRD programs, follow disciplinary rules and company regulations, and conduct performance appraisals for subordinates
• Follow all instructions from superiors and prepare daily reports on warehouse performance and areas for improvement
• Implement and enforce safety and health guidelines, maintain housekeeping standards following 5S implementation, and ensure compliance with work safety and process safety regulations

About you

• Minimal diploma degree in Business Administration or Technical Industry or equivalent
• Minimal 2 years experience as Warehouse Foreman
• Deep knowledge in SAP – WM module
• Deep understanding of warehouse and logistic operations including import and export documents, GHS labeling systems, SDS/LDK, trucking, cycle counting, annual stock count, FiFo, LiFo
• Understanding of work safety and process safety in warehouse manufacturing
• Familiar with logistic documents including packing lists, loading letters, shipping instructions, and delivery notes
• Able to operate electric forklift and reach truck with SIO Forklift certification required
• Strong leadership skills and good communication abilities
• Understanding of 5S and housekeeping standards
