About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join the team at Dharma Uluwatu in South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. This position is based on-site at our location in South Kuta, Bali.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at appropriate tables in a timely manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and beverage offerings, including specials and recommendations
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct items are delivered to the right guests
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns immediately
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next service with attention to detail
• Process payments and operate till systems accurately and securely
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including dining areas and service stations
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bar staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Respond professionally to guest complaints and special requests

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant, hotel or similar hospitality establishment
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities in English; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
• Professional appearance and impeccable personal hygiene standards
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic numeracy skills
• Certification in food hygiene or hospitality service is preferred
