Job summary

PT Sejahtera Eka Mandiri Investama (Ninetynine Restaurant) is seeking a Server to warmly greet guests, seat them, present menus, and explain daily specials to ensure a smooth dining experience.

You will take accurate orders, enter them into the POS, deliver food and drinks promptly, maintain clean tables, handle bills, and assist during openings, rush periods, and closing duties. A minimum of 1–2 years of hospitality experience and a neat, professional appearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, café, or F&B establishment.
• Education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; hospitality-related diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them, present menus, and explain food and daily specials to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Take guest orders and enter them into the POS system accurately.
• Serve food and beverages promptly according to quality, temperature, and presentation standards.
• Clear and set tables; bussING and cleaning between and after guests.
• Process payments via cash or card machines.
• Open, ongoing, and closing duties; maintain a clean and organized dining and service area.
• Handle guest inquiries and escalate complex issues to Manager/Supervisor when needed.

Job description

Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, seat them, present menus, and provide detailed answers about food, beverages, and daily specials.

Order Taking & System Entry: Accurately take guest orders and input them into the POS (\"Point of Sale\") system in a timely manner.

Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly according to quality, temperature, and presentation standards.

Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are cleared (bussing), cleaned, and set up properly before and after guest usage.

Bill Processing: Handle guest billing, accept payments accurately, and process transactions using cash or card machines.

Side Duties & Cleanliness: Perform opening, ongoing, and closing duties, maintaining a clean and organized dining and service area.

Issue Resolution: Handle minor guest inquiries or concerns professionally and elevate complex issues to the Manager/Supervisor promptly.

Requirements

Position: Server.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, café, or F&B establishment.

Education: Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent (Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism is a plus).

Skills & Knowledge: Proficient in taking orders, menu knowledge, and POS system operation & Excellent customer service, active listening, and communication skills.

Personal Attributes: Well-groomed, neat, and professional appearance, Friendly, energetic, and highly service-oriented attitude, Good teamwork and ability to handle high-volume rush hours.
