Job summary

PT Alvindo Catur Sentosa in Jakarta is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with 3+ years in industrial products to drive new business and support customers across oil & gas, mining, and power sectors.

You will understand customer requirements, develop technical proposals, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, while coordinating with engineering and procurement teams and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree and 3+ years as Sales Engineer or similar.
• Industry experience in valves, piping, EPC, oil & gas preferred.
• Strong hunter mentality and ability to develop new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and provide technical support, product recommendations, and engineering solutions;
• Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and visiting customers;
• Build and maintain relationships with EPCs, contractors, end users;
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and industry trends;
• Deliver technical presentations and proposals based on customer applications and project requirements;
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, quotation preparation, negotiation, and closing to after sales follow up;
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Sales Support, Procurement, Warehouse, and After-Sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled;
• Prepare regular sales reports, project updates, sales pipelines, and sales forecasts;
• Achieve assigned sales targets while expanding the customer base and market coverage.
