Job summary

Krom in Jakarta is seeking a UX Researcher to join our growing R&D team. You will partner with PMs, designers, and analysts to convert user feedback and behavior into actionable product direction across multiple product areas.

You will run end-to-end studies, identify opportunities, and support roadmap prioritization with clear insights. The role requires at least 2 years in UX research, plus strong quantitative methods and excellent communication to share findings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on UX Research experience.
• Fintech/financial industry experience preferred.

• Strong command of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Ability to communicate insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Job description

We're looking for a UX Researcher to join our growing research team. You'll work across multiple product areas, partnering with PMs, designers, and analysts to turn user behavior and feedback into decisions that shape our product direction.

• Identify research opportunities and validate them through well-scoped research initiatives
• Run end-to-end research projects, from writing the brief, executing the study, all the way to analysis and reporting
• Work closely with product analysts to read behavioral patterns and interpret raw data, then turn those signals into research directions and potential solutions
• Partner with product managers to support roadmap prioritization, making sure user insights are part of the decision-making process

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a UX Research role
• Experience in the financial or fintech industry is preferred

• Solid grasp of both quantitative and qualitative methods, with stronger fluency on the quantitative side (survey design, segmentation, statistical analysis, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate research findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with a good sense of how to balance user needs and business priorities when proposing UX solutions
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Systems, Informatics, Psychology, HCI, or equivalent
