Job summary

Aleph-Labs is seeking a skilled Product & UX Researcher to support a major banking platform revamp. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional squad with UI/UX designers and client teams to uncover user needs and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

You’ll plan and conduct studies, recruit participants, analyze data, and present findings, champion user needs in design discussions, and help establish metrics for ongoing UX performance while upholding ethical data practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX or product research, ideally in client-facing or regulated digital environments such as banking/fintech.
• Experience leading end-to-end research activities from planning to reporting.
• Strong storytelling to distill insights and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal project squad and client stakeholders to define research goals and select effective approaches (interviews, FGDs, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing, data analysis).
• Translate business questions into focused research plans and activities that generate actionable insights.
• Lead end-to-end research: plan, recruit, conduct, analyze, and report — including managing research operations for the project.
• Present findings in clear, structured formats (reports, decks, synthesis frameworks).
• Act as a user advocate in design discussions, helping shape the UX.
• Co-define product success metrics and tracking framework with the team for ongoing optimization.
• Ensure all research adheres to ethical and legal standards, especially around sensitive data.

We’re looking for a skilled and curious Product & UX Researcher to join our team and support the revamp of a major banking platform. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional project squad alongside UI/UX Designers and the client’s Product and Business teams. Your role is to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities — and to champion those insights to shape the next generation of banking experiences.

• Ensure all research activities adhere to ethical and legal standards, especially around handling sensitive customer and financial data.
  

Minimum Qualifications

This role is ideal for you who possess:

• At least 3 years of full-time experience in UX or product research, ideally in client-facing roles or in complex digital environments such as banking, fintech, or other regulated domains.
• Proven ability to run both qualitative and quantitative research independently and collaboratively – from planning, recruiting, conducting, analyzing, reporting, and managing research operations for the project.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, both in written and verbal formats — able to distill findings and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to operate several research tools (e.g., Maze, UsabilityHub), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Amplitude), and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R).
• Comfortable interpreting data from BI tools and product analytics dashboards; familiar with product and UX performance metrics.
• Experienced in facilitating ideation or co-creation workshops using several product frameworks (e.g. JTBD, Value Proposition Canvas, Opportunity Mapping)
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about high-quality research and meaningful outcomes.
• Adaptable and resilient — able to work within tight timelines, shifting requirements, and complex stakeholder environments.
