Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an Underground Technical Advisor Rock Breakers to provide expert service for the customer fleet (M442HD, M440HD, BB5600r) and lead a small team in a safety‑driven, efficient maintenance program.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, breakdown repair, and collaboration with Parts/Service to ensure timely parts supply, while mentoring staff and growing knowledge of underground mining technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining underground mining equipment fleets and providing onboard technical support.
• Ability to lead service teams and coordinate parts and maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service support to maintain customer fleet (M442HD, M440HD, BB5600r).
• Guide technical staff through preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to ensure efficient parts supply.
• Mentor and develop Rock Breaker team to meet goals.
• Develop direct relationships with customers and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on product development and technical innovations.
• Foster Lean thinking to deliver customer value.
