Job summary

PT. Sailun Tire Indonesia seeks an on-site technical support engineer to assist dealers, fleets, and mining customers with tire inspection, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. You will conduct lifecycle checks and field testing to support product improvements and customer solutions.

The role includes delivering technical training, supporting sales during trials, and preparing field reports with actionable recommendations in a travel-heavy environment across assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related engineering fields.
• 1–3 years experience in field service, technical support, tire engineering, or automotive/industrial roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing tire or equipment issues.
• Able to work in challenging environments such as mining sites and industrial areas.
• Willing to travel frequently (70% on-site, 30% WFH/WFO per month).

Job description

Provide on-site technical support to dealers, fleets, and mining customers, including tire inspection, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

Conduct tire usage lifecycle checks (installation, rotation, pressure, wear analysis) and ensure proper maintenance practices.

Perform field testing, data collection, and failure analysis to support product improvement and customer solutions.

Deliver technical training for customers and internal teams on tire handling, safety, and performance standards.

Support Sales & Marketing teams during product trials, customer visits, and technical presentations.

Handle technical claims, prepare field reports, and deliver recommendations to improve product and service quality.

Perform routine market and site visits across assigned regions to track performance and identify opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related engineering fields.
• 1–3 years experience in field service, technical support, tire engineering, or automotive/industrial roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in diagnosing tire or equipment-related issues.
• Able to work in challenging environments (mining sites, fleets, industrial areas).
• Willing to travel frequently with a 70% on-site and 30% WFH/WFO per month.
• Experience in tire, fleet operation, heavy equipment, or mining support is a plus
