Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a proactive QHSE Officer to help implement integrated management systems across our logistics operations. You will report on audits and incidents, prepare routine QHSE reports, and support risk assessments with accuracy.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor degree in health, safety, or public health, proficiency with MS Office, and a willingness to engage in continuous safety improvements.

Main Responsibilities

• Report the results of audits, inspections or incidents to supervisors or senior management.
• Maintain documentation related to QHSE activities, including audit reports, improvement recommendations, and compliance documents.
• Assist in preparing reports related to quality, health, safety, and the environment.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree (Diploma 3) in HSE, or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) or Public Health (with OHS specialization).
• Proficient in operating computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Capable of preparing routine QHSE reports, risk assessments, and other related documentation.
• Possession of a General OHS Expert (Ahli K3 Umum) certification is highly preferred.
