Job summary

Elsewedy Electric Indonesia seeks a skilled Tendering Engineer to lead the end-to-end bidding process for turnkey EPC substation projects. The role involves developing comprehensive cost estimations, BOQ, and pricing models across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The candidate will solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from equipment vendors and subcontractors, prepare compliant technical and commercial proposals, and identify risk with mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• 5 years of tendering or cost estimation experience in EPC substation or power infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of substation equipment, EPC scope interfaces, and balance of plant (BOP).
• Familiarity with EPC contract terms, commercial conditions, and bidding procedures.

Job description

Develop comprehensive cost estimations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and pricing models covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from equipment vendors and subcontractors.

Prepare compliant technical and commercial proposals, deviation lists, and qualification documents.

Identify contractual, commercial, and execution risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans.

Lead client technical clarifications, commercial negotiations, and ensure smooth handover to project execution upon award.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of tendering or cost estimation experience in EPC substation or power infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of substation equipment, EPC scope interfaces, and balance of plant (BOP).
