This role involves preparing tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, BOQ, commercial requirements, and bidding documents. You will coordinate and manage the end-to-end tendering process, from invitation to bid through contract award, and review and evaluate technical and commercial proposals submitted by vendors and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tender documents, including scope of work, technical specifications, BOQ, commercial requirements, and bidding documents
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end tendering process, from invitation to bid through contract award
- Review and evaluate technical and commercial proposals submitted by vendors and contractors
- Conduct commercial analysis, quotation comparisons, and prepare recommendation reports
- Lead tender clarification sessions, negotiations, and techno-commercial meetings with bidders
- Draft, review, and administer contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Manage contract amendments, variation orders (VO), claims, and contract close-out documentation
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project, and Finance teams throughout the tendering and contract lifecycle
- Ensure all tender and contract documents comply with applicable regulations, company standards, and internationally recognized contract standards such as GCC and FIDIC
- Maintain complete documentation and records for all tender and contract activities
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Tendering, Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, or Procurement within construction, infrastructure, EPC, or industrial projects
- Proven experience in managing tender processes, bid evaluations, and contract administration
- Strong understanding of BOQ, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and commercial evaluation
- Familiar with General Conditions of Contract (GCC), knowledge of FIDIC is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Able to manage multiple tenders and contracts simultaneously while meeting project deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Willing to permanently based in Merauke, South Papua (non-roster arrangement)
