Job summary

PT Abhitech Matra Indah is seeking a Tender and Contracts Specialist to manage the end-to-end tender process in the oil and gas sector in Indonesia. The role involves bid preparation, document control, and ensuring compliance with client requirements while coordinating with various functions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on tender experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in Oil and Gas tenders, including bid preparation and submission.
• Understanding of tender requirements, compliance and document control.
• Strong attention to detail, deadline management and stakeholder coordination.
• More junior candidates may be considered, with simpler tenders assigned initially.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tender pipeline, registration and prequalification, follow up on bid/no-bid decisions and report tender status, schedules and opportunities.
• Consolidate ready-to-use documents from relevant functions, ensuring compliance with client requirements, document completeness, approved pricing and commercial terms, and all internal approvals including deviations/exclusions before timely submission.
• Manage clarifications, negotiations and award follow-up within delegated authority, keeping outcomes documented.
• Ensure contracts reflect approved bids and negotiations, obtain Legal review, follow up on bonds/insurance, and initiate internal kick-off and handover to Operations.
• Monitor contract and bond/insurance expiry dates, coordinate amendment reviews and approvals, escape contractual deviations, highlight financial commitments, and maintain document control.
• Coordinate contract close-out, completion letters and TKDN verification with relevant functions, where applicable.
