PT Abhitech Matra Indah is seeking a senior Subsea Engineer with extensive offshore experience to lead technical design and development activities for subsea wells and trees. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with JV partners and regulators.

The successful candidate will deliver tender packages, guide Jack-Up rig operations, mentor junior engineers, and ensure alignment with API, ISO, and NORSOK standards across all subsea developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Offshore, Ocean, or Subsea Engineering.
• 15+ years offshore drilling, completions, or subsea engineering; 10+ years in subsea wellhead/tree.
• Experience with subsea well re-entry, development, and drilling/completion ops.
• Proven design and deployment of subsea wellheads/trees and landing strings on Jack-Up Rigs.
• Strong knowledge of API, ISO, NORSOK, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with Indonesian regulations and standards (SKK Migas, PUPOPKU, SNI).
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams; interfaces with JV partners/regulators.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills; fluent English.

• Technical advisor on subsea re-entry and drilling development design and operation.
• Deliver tender documents for subsea wellhead/tree and landing string services scope.
• Design subsea wellhead and tree for 5 wells deployed by a Jack-Up Rig.
• Prepare subsea equipment specifications and ensure QA on installation.
• Deliver technical assurance and peer reviews for compliance with standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize well delivery.
• Mentor subsea engineers toward drilling and completion roles.

Description du poste

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Offshore, Ocean, or Subsea Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in offshore drilling, completions, or subsea engineering, including 10 years in subsea wellhead and tree systems.
• Proven experience in subsea well re-entry, subsea well development, and subsea drilling/completion operations.
• Demonstrated track record in designing and deploying subsea wellheads, subsea trees, and landing string systems, including operations from Jack-Up Rigs.
• Experience preparing and evaluating tenders for subsea equipment and services, including Scope of Work, technical specifications, PQ, and technical evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of API, ISO, NORSOK, well integrity, flow assurance, subsea production systems, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with Indonesian regulations and standards, including SKK Migas, PUPOPKU, and SNI requirements.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing interfaces with JV partners, regulators, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Proven capability in technical assurance, peer review, and optimization of subsea development concepts.
• Strong communication, technical reporting, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• IWCF/IADC Well Control, BOSIET/TBOSIET, and relevant subsea engineering certifications are preferred.

Job Descriptions:

• Technical advisor on subsea re-entry and subsea drilling development design, plan, equipment preparation, and operation, ensuring the safe and consistent application of Company and regulatory codes and standards and good engineering practices.
• Deliver tender document for subsea wellhead and tree service and subsea landing string services scope comprising of scope of work, remuneration, PQ evaluation, TE evaluation.
• Designing the fit for purpose subsea wellhead and subsea tree for 5 subsea wells deployed by a Jack-Up Rig.
• Prepare subsea equipment requirement & specifications and ensure sufficient level quality assurance and control on preparation and installation of the equipment.
• Deliver technical assurance and peer review of subsea wellhead and tree designs to ensure compliance with Company standards (WEMS), regulatory requirements (PUPOPKU & SNI), and industry best practices (API, ISO, NORSOK, etc).
• Deliver subsea engineering activities in accordance with the Company's Well Delivery Process, HSE requirements, and Well Engineering Management System.
• Assess reservoir, production, and formation characteristics as per input from subsurface to identify subsea risks and opportunities, including sand production, flow assurance, scale, corrosion, and integrity issues, and develop fit-for-purpose subsea solutions.
• Lead multidisciplinary collaboration with Drilling, Subsurface, Production, Facilities, HSE, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to optimize well delivery outcomes.
• Review offset wells AAR, and subsurface and production facilities objectives requirement, then implement on designing the 5 subsea well head and trees.
• Design operation concept to deploy subsea wellhead and tree from a jack-up rig.
• Design concept on jack-up rig modification to enable the subsea operation.
• Interface with JV partners, Corporate functions, regulators, and relevant authorities to secure technical alignment and project approvals.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies, methodologies, and processes to improve operational efficiency, well performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Mentoring and coaching subsea engineering to drilling and completion engineer.
