Emperor Divers seeks a practical Technology Operations & Security Lead to keep our international business secure, reliable and well supported. Qualifications

• Around 5+ years of relevant hands-on IT experience, with some experience acting as a senior technician, lead or supervisor.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration skills.
• Good knowledge of endpoint security, access management and general IT operations, with awareness of MDR/EDR concepts rather than deep SOC investigation experience.
• Confidence troubleshooting Microsoft 365, user accounts, cloud services and endpoints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a preference for fixing root causes rather than applying repeated temporary workarounds.
• Ability to manage your own workload, priorities, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Comfort working with external vendors and escalating specialist issues appropriately.
• Strong spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Provide hands-on general IT support for users, devices, accounts and common business applications.
• Provide transitional support for selected existing business systems, including reservations management, until they are replaced, escalating specialist issues where appropriate.
• Manage user access, MFA, permissions, licensing and joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Maintain endpoint protection, device compliance, patching and security tooling, coordinating MDR/GravityZone alerts and escalations rather than performing deep security investigations.
• Support managed devices and coordinate local hardware support where needed.
• Coordinate vendors, managed service providers and local support partners, including escalations and service performance.
• Maintain IT assets, licences, configuration records, SOPs, employee reference guides and practical documentation for common processes, recurring fixes and cybersecurity/phishing awareness.
• Deliver practical training and guidance so employees can use core tools securely and effectively, including cybersecurity and phishing-awareness guidance.
• Maintain and test backup, disaster-recovery and business-continuity arrangements.
• Identify recurring problems and improvement opportunities and implement practical, secure solutions.
• Support technology projects and business change by identifying practical operational, access and security considerations early, and escalating architecture or strategic decisions to the Technology Director.
• Escalate material risks, costs, supplier concerns, high-security-risk decisions and architecture implications to the Technology Director with clear options and recommendations.

Role Description

Emperor Group is looking for a practical Technology Operations & Security Lead to keep our international business secure, reliable and well supported. This broad, hands-on role combines support, troubleshooting, configuration improvement, vendor coordination and practical problem resolution. This is a full-time, Bali-based role for Indonesian nationals.

You will lead the day-to-day execution of technology operations and security across Microsoft 365, identity and access, endpoints, cybersecurity coordination, vendors, backup/recovery and IT support, with strategic direction and final decisions sitting with the Technology Director.

• Experience in hospitality, travel, marine, retail or another distributed operational environment.
