Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Gallus Technician responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of Gallus printing presses used in label and packaging production to ensure high-quality print output, machine reliability, and adherence to safety standards.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on Gallus Labelmaster 440 and 340, diagnose issues, replace worn parts, keep maintenance logs, and coordinate with Engineering to implement improvements while following all safety

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or equivalent in Printing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Gallus Labelmaster 440 and Labelmaster 340.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, operational and printing-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Replace worn parts and ensure proper lubrication of components.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Gallus Labelmaster 440 and Labelmaster 340.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, operational and printing-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Replace worn parts and ensure proper lubrication of components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Report any major issues to Ass Mgr. Engineering and suggest improvements
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure a safe working environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education from Technical diploma or equivalent in Printing or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical.
• Possess a positive personality and be able to approach people at all levels.
• Familiarity with Flexo inks, substrates (e.g., BOPP, PET, PVC), and colour management systems.
• Strong oral and written skills in English
