Job summary

PT. Indo Kreasi Grafika is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician (Gravure) to maintain and troubleshoot gravure printing presses and related systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance on ATN 660 machines, read drawings, and work with prepress and QA teams while upholding safety standards.

A Diploma or technical cert and 3–5 years' hands-on gravure/printing experience, plus English communication, are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Printing Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years hands-on mechanical maintenance in gravure/printing industries.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with gravure processes and ATN machines.
• Able to speak English in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gravure printing presses – ATN 660 model.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and print-related issues, including alignment and wear.
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Ensure proper calibration and alignment of mechanical components during setup.
• Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports.
• Recommend improvements for machine reliability and performance.
• Work closely with prepress, finishing, and quality assurance teams.
• Train junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards

The Mechanical Technician (Gravure) is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gravure printing machines and related mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gravure printing presses – ATN 660 model.
• Identify, troubleshoot, resolve mechanical and print-related issues, including alignment, and component wear.
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments
• Ensure proper calibration and alignment of mechanical components during setup.

QUALITFICATIONS

• Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Printing Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in hands -on experience in mechanical maintenance for rotogravure printer, preferably in gravure or printing industry. Preferably those with experience in ATN machines.
• Skill: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gears, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Familiarity with gravure printing processes and tension control systems (ATN Machine)
• Able to speak English both orally and in writing.
