Job summary

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions in Indonesia is seeking a Technical Support Manager for Surface Drills. This role leads critical fault-finding and delivers prompt, safe solutions while collaborating with customers to understand their needs and apply the right technical remedies.

You will own root cause analysis, drive continuous improvement, and support product launches, training, and aftersales activities across the Indonesia, Philippines, Mongolia, Malaysia, or Singapore market.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 6–10 years of Sandvik equipment experience and advanced troubleshooting (hydraulic and DC electrical systems).
• Qualified technician in mechanics, hydraulics, and electrics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proactive and self-motivated.
• Experience in second-line support, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mining environment and equipment applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform systematic fault finding and provide prompt, safe solutions.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers, assessing needs and recommending solutions.
• Install, repair, inspect, and commission service on client equipment.
• Conduct product launches, testing and commissioning services.
• Support in NPD and aftermarket activities.
• Coach, mentor, and train Sales Area personnel.
• Collaborate with Parts & Services division on trainings.
