Job summary

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Technician based in North Sulawesi to support underground drilling equipment maintenance and service operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Sandvik equipment, ensuring safe, reliable performance across sites.

Collaborating with regional teams, you will follow safety standards, document work, and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices while traveling as required within Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Over 4 years of experience in maintenance, ideally in mining or heavy equipment.
• Proven track record in maintaining and troubleshooting Sandvik or similar OEM mining equipment (loaders, drill rigs, underground trucks).
• Strong foundation in electric and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge and experience with Sandvik Drill machines (S series, X series).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Sandvik underground drilling equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Repair and replace parts, following manuals and manufacturer instructions.
• Interpret basic mechanical designs and maintenance manuals for assembly and alignment.
• Perform maintenance tasks independently and document results.
• Communicate with customers at basic level and refer issues to the appropriate person.
• Provide feedback to line manager on maintenance and service challenges.
• Operate with limited guidance for trainees and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Adhere to SHEQ rules and promote awareness, addressing anomalies as needed.
