Job summary

PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk seeks a Technical Supervisor to oversee poultry operations at PS Kabuh. You will lead technical staff, develop preventive maintenance plans, and troubleshoot housing, ventilation, and feeding systems while ensuring biosecurity and welfare standards.

You will monitor production data, drive improvements, manage spare parts inventory, and collaborate with farm managers to optimize processes and meet objectives. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Animal Husbandry, or related technical field.
• 3–5 years in a technical supervisory role within poultry farming or related agriculture.
• Strong understanding of poultry farming equipment, systems, and maintenance practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of technical staff, including training, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all farm equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to poultry housing, ventilation, feeding systems, and other farm machinery.
• Ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols, animal welfare standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and technical supplies, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective utilization.
• Collaborate with farm managers and other departments to optimize production processes and achieve operational goals.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
