• Fluency in Indonesian and English

Job description

Oversee the maintenance and inspection of all civil and structural infrastructure, including buildings, foundations, and support systems

Conduct regular assessments and inspections to identify potential structural defects, safety hazards, and areas requiring remedial work

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to ensure structural integrity and longevity of facilities

Coordinate with contractors and external engineers to plan and execute maintenance, repair, and upgrade projects

Monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to manufacturing operations

Prepare technical reports and documentation detailing facility conditions, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvements

Manage budgets for maintenance and capital improvement projects within assigned scope

Supervise and train technical staff and contractors working on facility maintenance and repair tasks

Respond promptly to emergency situations and structural failures, coordinating immediate remedial actions

Liaise with operations teams to minimise downtime and ensure continuity of production activities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised institution

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or technical leadership role

Extensive knowledge of building codes, structural design principles, and safety standards applicable to industrial manufacturing facilities

Proven experience managing maintenance programmes and coordinating large-scale infrastructure projects

Strong competency in structural assessment, defect diagnosis, and remediation planning

Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred

Proficiency with structural analysis software and CAD applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external contractors

Demonstrated project management capabilities and attention to detail

Professional engineering credentials or certifications relevant to civil or structural engineering (e.g., Professional Engineer registration)

Fluency in Indonesian and English language
