Job summary

Valmet Indonesia is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to drive spare parts sales for the pulp and paper industry. You will work with sales teams and Valmet's global units to translate customer needs into technical solutions, prepare quotations, coordinate deliveries, and support order execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years of pulp mill technology experience, strong product knowledge, and good English and Bahasa Indonesia skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with pulp mill technologies.
• Strong technical vocabulary and ability to communicate with customers.
• Good understanding of Incoterms and payment terms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop technical solutions for spare parts applications.
• Prepare technical specifications and quotations that meet customer requirements, commercial conditions, and delivery schedules.
• Respond to customer and sales enquiries on technical aspects of products and services.
• Support customers, sales teams, and distribution channels by resolving order-related issues and complaints.
• Coordinate with sales, service, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Configure solutions based on system specifications and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product management to ensure products and services are configured and delivered according to customer needs.
• Negotiate pricing and support closing customer deals together with the sales team.
• Manage purchase orders and invoicing activities.
• Maintain close communication with Valmet's overseas technology and manufacturing units.
