Zusammenfassung

PT Primoban Novo Tyres is seeking a Technical Service Engineer for Truck & Bus Tyres in Indonesia. The role combines engineering expertise with field sales support, focusing on on-site technical service, tyre performance analysis, and customer solutions.

You will conduct lifecycle checks, perform field testing, and provide training to technicians and sales teams while coordinating with principals on warranty and product feedback. Willingness to travel across Indonesia is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum D1 education (preferably engineering/automotive background)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other reporting tools
• Understanding of tyre principals, latest technology in tyre industry, and automotive world, particularly TBR/OTR segment

Aufgaben

• Provide technical on-site support to dealers, fleets, and mining customers, including tyre inspection, troubleshooting, and monitoring tyre performance usage
• Conduct tyre lifecycle checks (installation, rotation, pressure, wear analysis) and ensure proper tyre maintenance practices
• Execute field testing, data collection, and tyre failure analysis to support product improvement and customer solutions
• Analyse tyre performance and handle aftersales cases, including report preparation, technical feedback, and input to principal
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to tyre technician teams and sales teams; support sales & marketing activities such as technical presentations, technical discussions, and negotiations as technical advisor
• Study market trends and tyre applications to provide relevant technical insights to marketing and management teams
• Act as communication liaison between company and principal engineers, including warranty claim coordination
• Manage tyre performance data and reporting, including per-customer reports to support product strategy and pricing
• Monitor tyre usage performance at customers (Lifetime, TKPH, Tonnage, Hours, etc.)
• Identify and penetrate potential customers, key accounts, and big fleets in coordination with Sales Manager

Technical Service Engineer – Truck & Bus Tyres

Tyre Engineer providing technical support to dealers, fleets, and mining customers, combining strong technical tyre capabilities, performance analysis, and field sales support for Truck & Bus Tyres (TBR) segment across Indonesia.

Key responsibilities

Provide technical support on-site to dealers, fleets, and mining customers, including tyre inspection, troubleshooting, and monitoring tyre performance usage

About you

Minimum D1 education (preferably engineering/automotive background)

Minimum 3 years experience as Tyre Engineer / Technical Service Tyre

Good communication skills and able to speak English (minimum passive)

Disciplined, honest, adaptable character and ready to work in field environment

Willing to undertake official travel throughout Indonesia
