Job summary

Mitra Prodin in Bali is seeking a Production Development Leader to drive new product development in related technical fields and oversee R&D of new products.

You will coordinate and supervise sections to implement sustainable production, plan schedules, manage budgets, monitor performance, and lead engineers/technicians to ensure quality and efficiency. Fluency in English is required. This role reports to the managing director and requires strong leadership and cost-awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field.
• Has leadership and management skills.
• Experience operating CNC or cutting machines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare new product development in related technical field.
• Oversee the research and development of new products.
• Coordinate and supervise sections to implement sustainability in production.
• Prepare detailed production plans and schedules to meet targets.
• Prepare budgets for the product and supporting components.
• Monitor production plans to achieve schedule, volume, and quality.
• Control raw materials and optimize labor, machinery, and equipment usage.
• Lead technical division (engineers/technicians) in design, planning, development, and production quality control.
• Direct and coordinate production, quality assurance, testing and maintenance of the product.
• Ensure production facilities and machines operate properly.
• Make daily and periodic reports per reporting system.
• Explore cost reduction and method improvements.
• Maintain work discipline and assess subordinates' performance.
• Consult with higher management about product development or manufacturing.
• Carry out other tasks assigned by the managing director.

Job description

• To plan and preparation of new product development in related technical field


• Oversee the research and development of new products


• Coordinate and supervise the work and give guidance to each section underneath to ensure the implementation of sustainability in the production process


• Preparing detail plans and production schedules to accomplish target productivity


• Preparing budgets plan of the product and supporting components


• Monitor the implementation of production plans in order to achieve the production schedule, volume, and quality specified


• Responsible for the control of raw materials and the efficient use of labor, machinery, and equipment


• Supervise and lead technic division (engineers/ technicians) who design machinery, plan and develop, and oversee production and quality control.


• Direct and coordinate production, quality assurance, testing and maintenance the product.


• Always keep the production facilities and machine functioning properly.


• Making daily and periodic reports on activities in parts in accordance with the applicable reporting systems.


• Trying to find ways of cost reduction and improvement of working methods.


• Maintaining the discipline of work and assess the performance of subordinates on a regular basis.


• Confer with higher levels of management about the product developing or manufacturing


• Carry out other tasks given by the managing director in related technical field

Requirements :

• Maximum 45 years old


• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / computer science / a related technical field


• Fluent in English


• Experience in the same field minimum 2 years


• Has integrity, initiative, proactive & loyal


• Has management and leadership skills


• Experience to operate CNC machine or cutting machine
