Job summary

Samara Lombok is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to take ownership of repeatable recruitment execution and administration. The role aims to lessen the Group TA Lead's workload while ensuring accurate data and timely vacancy progress.

Initially, you will support junior vacancies and gradually handle day-to-day sourcing through preboarding, escalating complex decisions to the Group TA Lead as needed.

Job description

This role supports the Group Talent Acquisition Lead by taking ownership of repeatable recruitment execution and recruitment administration. The role is designed to reduce the operational workload carried by the Group TA Lead while maintaining strong candidate follow-up, accurate recruitment data and consistent vacancy progress. The Recruitment Specialist will initially support and operationally manage junior and operational vacancies. Over time, the role is expected to develop into a recruiter who can independently run the day-to-day process for selected vacancies from sourcing through preboarding, while escalating judgement-based decisions, Hiring Manager matters and all offer / negotiation activity to the Group Talent Acquisition Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Post vacancies, monitor applications, and provide weekly recruitment updates. Follow up on open positions and coordinate with recruitment agencies when needed.
• Source candidates, review CVs, conduct initial screening, and prepare shortlists for review.
• Communicate with candidates, arrange interviews, send reminders, and follow up throughout the recruitment process.
• Keep candidate and vacancy information up to date in the ATS and recruitment tracker.
• Coordinate assessments, reference checks, and other recruitment documents, and prepare candidate information for review.
• Support the offer and preboarding process, follow up on required documents, and coordinate joining arrangements.

About you

• 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or agency recruitment. Hospitality experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in sourcing candidates, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and following up with candidates.
• Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), job boards, recruitment databases, and standard office tools is preferred.
• Well organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.
• Good communication skills and confidence in working with candidates and internal teams. Good English communication skills are required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented, with good attention to data and documentation.
