Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia in Jakarta seeks a Storage/Server Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on deployment experience, deep knowledge of Pure Storage/Everpure, and strong SAN/VMware/KVM skills to support enterprise customers. You will report to the Team Leader and cover maintenance tasks, change requests, reporting and onsite resident engineering (8x5).

Fluent English and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Telecommunication; GPA minimum 3.0.
• Deep knowledge of Pure Storage/Everpure products.
• Experience with Server, VMware, KVM and SAN switches (Brocade/Cisco MDS).
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux is a plus.
• Pure Storage/Everpure FlashArray Storage Professional certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of Storage/Server deployment experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English; strong MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Maintain PSI customer infrastructure and troubleshoot issues.
• Handle change requests in customer networks.
• Prepare reports, documentation and standby monitoring.
• Provide Onsite Resident Engineer support at PSI customer sites (8x5).

Job Specification

• Hold bachelor degree (S-1 degree) in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Telecommunication from reputable university with minimum IPK of 3.0, 5 years working experience as engineer is a must
• Deep knowledge and able to demonstrate expertise in Pure Storage/Everpure products is a must
• Having knowledge in Server, Hypervisor (VMware/KVM) and SAN switch (Brocade/Cisco MDS)
• Having experience in Operating System (Windows Server/Linux) is a plus
• Holding Pure Storage/Everpure FlashArray Storage Professional certification is a must
• Minimum 5 years experience in Storage/Server technology deployment
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Fluent in English, good communication skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications i.e. Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
