Job summary

PT Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk is seeking a System Engineer to manage server hardware, storage, and virtualization to ensure system reliability and high availability in Jakarta.

The role covers installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems and related services, tuning Nginx, Apache, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, and performing proactive monitoring and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Proxmox and hypervisor administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with installation, uptime management, and performance tuning of Nginx, Apache, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Conduct routine maintenance, system updates, and infrastructure optimization to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience in hypervisor implementation and administration, with mandatory familiarity with Proxmox.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating system administration.
• Experience managing physical server hardware and centralized storage infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with installation, configuration, uptime management, and performance tuning of Nginx, Apache, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
