Job summary

Six Senses Bali is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engineering operations in line with the brand’s wellness and sustainability ethos, delivering outstanding facilities and experiences. You will oversee maintenance, landscape, safety, and energy efficiency while upholding Six Senses standards.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and 5+ years in hotel engineering; Indonesian citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of hotel engineering experience.
• Experience in general building maintenance and supervision.
• Professional certifications such as HVAC, EPA Level 3, and plumbing/electrical licenses may be required.
• Indonesian citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Engineering for efficient operation of the department.
• Oversee landscape, plant and equipment, technical work, carpentry, and safety systems.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs aligned with Six Senses standards.
• Ensure rostering, external contractors, and cost-control measures.
