Six Senses Uluwatu Bali is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel engineering team and uphold Six Senses values of local sensitivity and global sensibility. You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety systems, ensuring preventative maintenance and adherence to brand standards.

The role demands coordinating rosters, managing external contractors, driving cost efficiency, and delivering financial returns while maintaining exceptional product quality and guest

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, and more than five years’ experience in a similar hotel engineering role, preferred.
• Professional certification and license if required by law.
• Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields. Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber, and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required
• Fluent in English
• Indonesian Citizenship

Responsabilidades

• Support the Director of Engineering for the efficient operation of the Engineering department, including landscape and gardening, plant and equipment, technical work, carpentry, sustainability, fire and safety systems and a preventative maintenance program.
• Improve maintenance and engineering practices to keep the product in optimal order aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Roistering and manning to meet requirements; organize external contractors as needed.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Analyse and design projects; conduct investigations and maintain knowledge of engineering products and services used in resorts.
• Deliver pre-established financial returns related to revenue generation, profitability and ROIC.
• Safeguard sustainability and wellness pillars; ensure directives are adopted within the property.
• Operate the property in compliance with legal, financial, security and safety protocols and budget controls.
