Job summary

Six Senses Uluwatu Bali is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering team, safeguard sustainability, wellness, and luxury standards across the resort, and partner with the Director of Engineering to ensure optimal operation. You will oversee plant and equipment, safety systems, and a preventative maintenance program, with a focus on cost efficiency and exceptional guest experience.

Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Five+ years in a similar luxury hotel engineering role (preferred).
• Fluent in English.
• Indonesian citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Engineering for efficient operation of the department, including sustainability and wellness initiatives.
• Oversee plant/equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry works; manage safety systems and maintenance programs.
• Improve maintenance practices, rostering, and external contractor coordination; deliver financial returns related to profitability.
