PT Secom Indonesia seeks an experienced procurement professional to identify and develop vendors aligned with strategic priorities. You will screen, assess capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Identify and develop potential vendors according to business requirements and strategic priorities.
Conduct comprehensive vendor screening and due diligence, including capability, track record, financial soundness, quality, service level, capacity, compliance, and business continuity.
Compare and evaluate vendors objectively based on quality, cost, delivery, service, technology, flexibility, and overall business value.
Establish and maintain strong, professional, and long-term relationships with key vendors.
Negotiate better commercial conditions, including pricing, payment terms, lead time, warranty, service level, volume benefits, and other value-added conditions.
Seek alternative vendors and benchmark market conditions to avoid excessive dependency on a one vendor and maintain competitive sourcing.
Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular business reviews with key vendors.
Work with relevant internal departments to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate sourcing strategies.
Recommend vendor selection and sourcing strategies to management based on objective evaluation and commercial rationale.
Maintain appropriate records of vendor evaluations, negotiations, performance, and key commercial conditions.
Coordinate with the Procurement Team (Finance Group) for the subsequent internal procurement and purchasing procedures after vendor selection.
Support management in strategic sourcing projects, cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and development of new supply channels.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in vendor evaluation, sourcing, and commercial negotiation.
Strong ability to assess vendor capabilities and identify commercial and operational risks.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key vendors and business partners.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to compare alternatives and make fact-based recommendations.
Experience in cost optimization, benchmarking, and supplier performance management.
Experience in a multinational or Japanese company is preferred.
High integrity, strong ownership, and a professional approach to vendor management.
Sales mindset is important.
