Job summary

Nusara Pradipa Partners in Indonesia, Jakarta Selatan, seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Officer to source and develop suppliers and vendors. You will manage procurement, negotiate pricing and terms, and oversee the flow of goods from supplier to warehouse to customer.

This role requires coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and client teams, arranging schedules, monitoring lead times and costs, and identifying alternate suppliers to improve pricing and service.

Responsibilities

• Source and develop suppliers and vendors according to company requirements
• Identify and evaluate vehicles, trucks, ships, courier services, and 3PL logistics providers
• Request and compare quotations from various vendors
• Negotiate pricing, transportation costs, and cooperation terms
• Manage procurement and purchasing processes according to requirements
• Arrange and monitor the flow of goods from supplier to warehouse to customer
• Ensure goods availability according to requirements and schedules
• Arrange delivery schedules and coordinate with transportation vendors
• Monitor lead times, deliveries, and logistics costs
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, purchasing, logistics, and client teams
• Handle issues such as delayed goods, fleet shortages, schedule changes, or supplier problems
• Identify alternative suppliers and vendors for more competitive pricing and services
• Prepare reports on purchases, suppliers, shipments, costs, and supply chain performance
