Job summary

PT Berkat Jaya Beton in West Jakarta, Kalideres, seeks a senior procurement and logistics leader to design and execute SCM strategies for rental heavy equipment operations, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

You will lead end-to-end procurement, logistics, warehouse management, sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract awards, while building strategic supplier relationships for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in SCM, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Experience: minimum 10 years in Procurement/Supply Chain, 5+ years in a managerial role within mining/heavy equipment.
• Experience procuring for mining ops including heavy equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
• Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement and logistic strategies to support rental heavy equipment operations with cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Lead end-to-end procurement and logistics activities including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, and contract awards.
• Manage procurement for mining operations including heavy equipment, spare parts, and consumables; oversee warehouse management.
• Build and monitor supplier relationships, performance against quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.
• Negotiate and administer procurement contracts compliant with policies and regulations; drive continuous procurement process improvements.

Job description

Develop and execute procurement & logistic (SCM) strategies to support rental heavy equipment operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Lead end-to-end procurement & logistic (SCM) activities, warehouse management, including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiation, and contract award.

Manage procurement for rental heavy equipment operational requirements, including, spare parts, fuel, consumables, etc

Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers while monitoring vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service standards.

Negotiate and administer procurement contracts in compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

Identify cost-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvements in procurement processes and supply chain efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the mining/Heavy Equipment industry.
• Experienced managing procurement for mining operations, including heavy equipment, spare parts, and operational materials.
• Experienced negotiating commercial contracts with shipping companies, logistics providers, or strategic suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, contract management, and vendor performance management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required
