Job summary

PT. Pelsart Tambang Kencana, a fast-growing gold mining company entering commissioning in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, is seeking a Procurement Specialist.

You will manage end-to-end procurement for project materials, equipment, and services, coordinating with project teams to meet schedules and budgets. The role requires a Civil Engineering background, strong cost-estimation skills, and fluency in English, with experience in mining or EPC projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience in mining, EPC, or project environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, supplier management and contracts.
• Ability to provide alternatives and basic cost estimations for value-driven procurement.
• Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, prepare bid comparisons, and issue purchase orders.

• Monitor procurement progress, expedite critical orders, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct commercial evaluations and procurement recommendations for management approval.
• Identify alternative sourcing options and value-improvement opportunities to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support tendering processes, supplier negotiations, and contract administration activities.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company requirements.

• Able to provide practical alternatives, conduct basic cost estimations, and support value-driven procurement decisions.
• Systematic, detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
