Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Data Cruncher & Inventory Demand Forecaster in Jakarta Selatan to transform large operational data into actionable insights. You will forecast material requirements, optimize inventory levels, and support business planning across subsidiaries with advanced analytics.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, experience in demand planning, and proficiency in BI tools and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• At least 5 years in demand planning or analytics.
• Experience in asset-intensive sectors (mining, heavy equipment, manufacturing, logistics).
• Strong Excel skills, data modeling, and large dataset handling.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).
• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze large datasets from multiple units.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models for inventory categories.
• Monitor stock movements, lead times, and warehouse utilization.
• Calculate safety stock, reorder points, and EOQ parameters.
• Design dashboards and reports to track inventory health and risks.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and operations.
• Support MRP processes and ensure forecast alignment with procurement.
• Present insights and recommendations to management.
