Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Data Cruncher & Inventory Demand Forecaster to build predictive inventory models and forecasting frameworks across diverse operations. You will transform large volumes of data into actionable insights to improve availability, reduce excess, and optimize working capital for multiple subsidiaries.

The role requires collaborating with operations, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and management to forecast material requirements and strengthen supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 years in demand planning, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and analytics tools.
• Strong Excel skills with data modeling and large dataset handling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze large operational datasets from multiple units, warehouses, and sites.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasting models for inventory categories.
• Monitor inventory performance, lead times, stock movements, and warehouse utilization.
• Compute safety stock, reorder points, EOQ, and optimization parameters.
• Design dashboards/reports to visualize inventory health and supply chain risks.
• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for working capital optimization.
