About the Role Our client, a well-regarded retail establishment, is seeking an experienced and proactive Retail Store Supervisor to oversee operations at their Semarang, Central Java, ID location. This role is pivotal in ensuring the store runs efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales objectives and maintaining operational standards. You will be responsible for guiding a team of retail associates, managing daily tasks, and ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers. • Supervise and guide a team of retail sales associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
• Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to achieve targets.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stock checks.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the sales team.
• Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Implement loss prevention measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing a team.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, sales techniques, and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management.
