Job summary

GFS - Global Freight Services is seeking a Customs Brokerage Supervisor to coordinate the clearance and delivery of international freight shipments in Jakarta. The role ensures regulatory compliance and supports efficient end-to-end logistics operations, drawing on hands-on freight documentation experience and a service-oriented mindset.

You will oversee daily receiving/shipping, supervise freight flow, handle customer inquiries, and collaborate with Customer Service, Operations and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving and shipping operations to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Supervise freight flow processes and maintain communication with suppliers, buyers, shipping lines, agents, and vendors.
• Address customer inquiries and delivery concerns professionally and promptly.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate freight handling, ensuring loading/unloading equipment is prepared before shifts.
• Ensure shipments are sorted and tagged accurately per delivery orders and customs requirements.
• Complete freight and customs paperwork accurately, keeping records clean and organized.
• Investigate and resolve issues like misdirected shipments and seal discrepancies swiftly.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations, Compliance) to support smooth customs clearance.
