Job summary

Leighton Indonesia seeks a Supervisor Mechanical - Data Center to coordinate MEP activities across the project area of Batam. The role emphasizes achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets while maintaining a safe working environment in line with HSE expectations.

The candidate will lead a team, supervise direct staff and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works within the civil construction context.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation and safety requirements.
• Experience supervising direct staff and subcontractors.
• Experience in operating/technical roles in construction.
• Civil contractor experience preferred.
• 7+ years in civil/construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to meet targets.
• Develop and supervise subordinates to optimize time in MEP installation.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization for efficiency.
• Ensure adequate competent resources for MEP installation.
• Enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures under HSE guidelines.
• Develop daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Share knowledge to develop the organization.

Job description

Currently, Leighton Indonesia is looking for Supervisor Mechanical - Data Center.
To coordinate mechanical work activities of the project area to which he has been assigned according to agreed plan, while maintaining a health & safe working environment with the prime objective of ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved

Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
2. To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
3. To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
6. To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
7. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
